What is Spravato®?

Spravato® (esketamine) is an FDA-approved prescription nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression. It may be an option when previous antidepressant treatments haven’t provided enough improvement.

Treatment takes place in our office, where you self-administer the nasal spray under clinical supervision and remain for monitoring for at least two hours. You must arrange transportation home and should not drive until the next day after a restful sleep.

We review your medical and psychiatric history, previous treatments, and treatment goals to determine whether Spravato is appropriate for you. Benefits and response vary from person to person.
